Wow! It's hard to find the words to describe my experience at allura ! Brilliant is definitely one of them . All my life I have had long, thick curly hair. It has always been hard to manage so I would just put it up so I didn't have to deal with it. Not anymore ! The extensive knowledge of the team at allura has seen me walk out with hair now sitting just above my shoulders, it looks and feels amazing! after taking in their advise on caring for my hair with their amazing range of products my hair has never felt this good, EVER! It's brilliant how a great hair style can make you feel all over! Thank you girls for your caring attitudes towards me, I truly felt that you did care about my needs. Thank you SO MUCH to Jenae at Allura Berwick. My first short haircut in 15 years! I am a Chemotherapy patient and was dreadding having my hair cut short, especially to this awful disease. Jenae made my whole experience so lovely. She was thoughtful, listened to my ideas and she followed through with so much care and attention. A lovely girl and fantastic hairdresser. I loved the fact that I had the whole appointment with her from backwash ( with remarkable electric massage seating) to end result....meaning 100% focus on the one client at a time. Love that! ❤️ The salon staff were all absolutely gorgeous, and welcoming, the salon was modern, warm, clean, fresh and bright. I love Allura and being looked after by my fabulous Stylist, from start to finish of my consultation - in comparison to some salons, where a different team member, completes the different components, such as the cut, colour and shampoo. It’s also lovely being greeted so warmly by other staff members when they see me, each and every time I visit. Other Allura benefits: Stylists only have 1 client booked in at a time, so they’re not in a rush and can focus on working their magic. Allura offer different hair packages that work well with my budget. Decent coffee, tea & an extensive delicious, herbal tea range is always on offer. Basically, Allura is fantastic & I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. The staff are sensational and very good at what they do. Highly recommended. ~ Tania F

Visited the place for the first time for myself. Been there previously with my daughter who saw Andrea. I was pleasantly surprised at the amazing salon, and even more impressed at the professionalism of the staff Since the fist visit my daughter has been back on at least three other occasions and was quite happy with the result. This week, she saw someone who just could not be bothered with listening or asking her about the cut she wanted and did not do a good at all! She returned and a lovely young stylist rescued her hair! She is extremely thankful even though she was expected to pay a further $100 dollars to fix the first one's mess 😡 She may not return again. ~ Mumma B

It was my first time at Allura Hairdressing Boutique Berwick and my hairdresser Josie gave my hair so much care attention to detail, I felt like a VIP client! She coloured my hair a gorgeous blonde colour, which I'd had been previously trying to get at another salon for the past year, in just one session! She's extremely professional and has a lot of talent and experience. The environment was very easy going, friendly and relaxing. The facilities were quite luxurious, especially the wash room, which is a quiet area where you are covered in a heated blanket and listen to meditation music while your hair is washed and rinsed. I felt like I was is a day spa! ~ Jessica C

Absolutely amazing what can I say! I have been having my hair done at Allura for years and look forward to my me time at Allura. It is defintely a WOW experience, from the inital consultation to chat about what I want done, the glass of bubbly or delish cuppa, chilling with the latest mags, head massage (which is so relaxing I sometimes catch myself falling asleep), all organic products which is hard to find and then walking out a new woman! They are all my favorite stylists every one does an amazing job and everyone is friendly and professional. I went to this boutique today to try for the first time as i have experienced other bad hairdressers and wanted to find a place i could trust. My first experience was amazing as soon as i walked in. Lou was my hairdresser was very friendly and helpful. I am so happy with my hair color and how she treated my hair. My hair has never looked and felt this good my entire life. I will never let anyone else do my hair again. This will be my hairdressers from now on and Lou will be my hairdresser from now on. This place is a haven from the busy world! It's so easy to arrange an appointment, I booked mine online and was matched with Lizzie on the day. I was simply spoilt by Lizzie, she is as talented as she is kind - the whole process was so pleasant! After the consultation, I was offered a hot beverage (they have a whole menu!) and got to relax in the chair as my colour developed. The basin room is SO peaceful with ambient music, dimmed lighting and reclining massage chairs as well as a warm blanket to enhance your relaxation! My colour came out exactly as I envisioned, the trim was just what I needed and the curl gave me a spring in my step as I left! Cant wait to come back in December 🩷 ~ Leia B

I’ve been to Allure a few times now and each time I have been serviced by Edie. As soon as you walk in the door you are made to feel welcome. The place itself is clean and has a positive vibe. I like how it’s not like your typical salons where you’re sitting next to someone else, here, you have your own little area with your hair dresser. Edie is honestly amazing. She is the only hair dresser that can deliver what I want every single time. As indecisive as I am, she’s patient and listens. Her personality is one of gold and makes the time go super quick with the chats while she works her magic. Thanks Edie for making me feel special. Today I had my first salon visit since the beginning of Covid! 3 years of home dye jobs and hair cuts…my hair was a mess and in need of some serious help. Victoria, at Allura Hairdressing Boutique - Berwick, welcomed me in to the gorgeous salon with absolutely no judgement (but wouldn’t blame her if she did haha) and brought my hair back to life. A good chop, some layers to hide the chunks of breakage (there was a lot!), and all with a nice relaxing spa retreat vibe and a good laugh and conversation. I don’t know where to start with this place. From the moment you step in, it was an immediate wow! It was my very first time at Allura and while I was very anxious to get my hair done after almost 9 years of not going to a hairdresser, trusting Emily with my hair did not disappoint. She’s been truly amazing throughout the whole process and guided me through every steps of getting a new hairstyle. The wash area gives a very relaxing and calming spa vibe and don’t get me started with the deep scalp massage; incredible. This place is a true GEM! I had an appointment with Lizzie again yesterday. As usual, she cut and styled my hair in her very professional manner. I’m trying to grow my hair out in a stylish way. She is supportive of that choice and cuts my hair accordingly. I absolutely loved her scalp massage in the quieter spa-like washing basin area too. It was one of the best I’ve ever had, anywhere. She went above and beyond with her treatment and was very nurturing, as I had mentioned briefly that I had been unwell a few weeks ago. She massaged my scalp slowly and firmly, applied a hair mask, placed a hot towel on my head, then left me for a few moments to enjoy that. I then discovered that during that time away, she had brewed me a pot of Immune boosting tea which was waiting for me upon our return to the chair..what a beautiful surprise !! Liz is a fabulous, patient and experienced stylist. I highly recommend her. ~ Vanessa B

After my old hairdresser stopped working, I was on the lookout for a new salon, after a goodle search I found Allura. I was impressed by their money back satisfaction guarantee and that they also offer olaplex. A very hesitant new client I was immideatly put at ease, the hairdresser who was looking after me was experienced and definitely knew what she was talking about and had an understanding of my hair needs. It's a cosy house environment salon with different rooms. I would definitely recommend Allura to anyone looking at a salon change. I can be quite a difficult hair customer and I was impressed. I have been going to Allura for the last few years. My sister recommended me to go their to get my hair styled and coloured. I have never been disappointed. My stylist Lisa knows my hair and I have such confidence in what she does. I am really fussy with my hair because it is so thick and dark, and I have lots of it. Lisa cuts it perfectly each time and does an superb ombre. Me personally, I take customer service very high and they tick that box every time for me. If you want a salon that is relaxing, a qualified stylist that gives you great results and advice, then I would recommend Allura Hairdressing Boutique in Berwick. ~ L İ

I really wanted to give a shout out Taylah for her amazing service. A couple months ago I got a haircut that I wasn’t 100% happy with but I had to wait for it to grow out again before fixing it. I explained everything to Taylah and she really listened to what I was hoping to do, even when I felt silly for getting the tiniest little trim. She was realistic about my expectations but very understanding of how I felt and honestly to top it all off she really salvaged my hair. I have been coming to Allura for a number of years now the service is consistent. The staff never fail to make you feel welcome . The care and treatment is fabulous. The hair washing room is amazing with no talking policy in there so it’s all about pamper and relaxing from massage chairs to salt lamps to sedate music . Heated bean bags and blankets make it an ultimate experience. Top end products are used and great coffee and teas on offer to help make the experience an all rounder. This place is amazing!! For years I’ve been trying to find a decent hairdresser in the area that isn’t charging like $300 for a simple cut, and I luckily stumbled across this place and I couldn’t be more grateful. Everyones so nice and Lizzie was perfect for me she understood my curly hair so well and I walked out with the biggest smile on my face. Absolutely love coming to visit Edie - she is the best! My husband and I come in together to have our hair done and love the experience. Edie makes the appointment fun and we always leave feeling and looking gorgeous! My husband has sooooo much hair and Edie is phenomenal at cutting and styling thick, wavy hair. She never fails to get it to sit beautifully. Edie gets my colour right every single time. I have never had such great consistency and results! Absolutely love my trips to Allura! Always leave feeling pampered and with gorgeous hair. I love the one-on-one attention - and my stylist always knows what I need for my hair. Everyone is so friendly. I’m always offered a hot drink, plenty of reading material and very comfy chairs (even a massage chair while I’m getting my hair washed). Let’s not forget the amazing head massages! My daughter also visits Allura and they have been fantastic with her scalp condition. The tricho products have definitely helped. I recently visited Allura in Berwick for a Cezzane keratin treatment, and it was a fantastic experience! The salon itself is spacious and welcoming, and I didn’t have to wait at all, thanks to the efficient staffing. I had a really bad experience years ago at a different salon and have always done my own hair for 15 years so it’s a big deal for me to let anyone touch my hair. Louise was incredibly from start to finish. Consultation was very realistic and the amount of care she took doing my hair was fantastic. Even though my hair is incredibly damaged, she was able to bleach and colour correct without causing more damage. Shes very good at what she does! Thank you so much I’m so happy with my hair. I had my first experience here today in their children’s room with my toddler and it meant I could enjoy my entire treatment and she could play happily while I did so. I saw Jazz and she explained everything in detail from their unique colouring process, to products used and why and topped the entire appointment off with the most beautiful hot oil treatment. My hair colour is perfect and the condition of my hair is the best it’s ever been and smells INCREDIBLE! I will certainly be returning, thank you Jazz and the ladies at Allura! ~ Tanya K

Where do I start?! The atmosphere as you walk in to this beautiful salon is amazing. The extra little touches of heat packs, Blankets and massage chair at the basin. I saw Jen for my hair and OH MY GOODNESS - not only is Jen a beautiful person, her work is absolutely amazing. Jen did a colour correction for me. I was expecting I’d have to see her 2 or 3 times to see some kind of change, but Jen managed to do one hell of a transformation in one go and my hair is feeling amazing.
